One thing "public" and "commercial" broadcasting have in common is that 
"money talks, bullshit walks."  The shows that bring in the bucks, whether as 
contributions during a fundraising drive or as an audience share that yields 
advertising revenues, get the air time and those that don't get the axe, 
notwithstanding that "public" broacasting ostensibly airs things that wouldn't be 
commercially successful; and it seems neither can leave well enough alone.  
Unfortunately for us, it seems they've found that Red Green in the Friday night time 
slot brings in the bucks during Festival.
